Bogdanci (Богданци) – town in Macedonia

Bogdanci is small city in the South part of Republic of Macedonia with population of 6.011 according to the 2002 census.
Bogdanci is located on the East end of Gevgeli basin on right side of “Stara Reka” (Old River) on elevation of 80 m.
Trough Bogdanci a regional road leads which connects the city with Gevgelija on South West and with New Dojran and Dojran Lake on North East.
Bogdanci covers an area of 311 ha, and has fluctuant Mediterranean climate. Bogdanci is proclaimed as city in 2004 and the population is consisted mainly from ethnic Macedonians.
Bogdanci is administrative center of Bogdanci Municipality which covers a area of 11.454 ha, has 4 populated places with total population of 8.707.
