French military cemetery in Bitola (WW1 Cemetery)

French military cemetery in Bitola (Bitola Cimetière Militaire Français, Француски воени гробишта во Битола) were raised by the French state in memory and tribute to fallen French soldiers during the First World War in the area of city of Bitola (Monastir) on the Macedonian Front.

Tsar Samoil fortress (Самоилова тврдина) in Ohrid

Tsar Samoil fortress is considered one of the largest preserved fortifications in Macedonia. The fortress was first mentioned by the historian Titus Livy in the 3rd century BC, as a fortress of the city Lychnidos. Bigger more detailed description dates from the 5th century when the fortress was defended from tribal attacks during the Great Migration period.

Pelince – ASNOM – World War II Memorial

The Pelince Memorial Museum was developed by the project of architect Georgi Konstantinov (Ѓорѓи Константинов) and the monumental mosaic facade is the work of the Macedonian contemporary artists Rubens Korubin (Рубенс Корубин) and Ilija Penushliski (Илија Пенушлиски).

Zebrnjak, Memorial ossuary in Mlado Nagoricane (Зебрњак, Спомен костурница, Младо Нагоричане)

In the area of the village Mlado Nagoricane (Младо Нагоричане) is located the Zebrnjak (Зебрњак) monument erected in honor of victims of the First Balkan War, who lost their lives on this place at the famous Kumanovo battle (Кумановска битка) in 1912.
