Ohrid Airport – Practical information

Ohrid Airport (Аеродром Охрид, Aerodrom Ohrid), “St. Apostle Paul” (Св. Апостол Павле, Sv. Apostol Pavle), is an airport located near Ohrid (9 km, 6 miles), the most famous tourist destination in Macedonia.

Ohrid and Skopje airports are managed by the Turkish company Tepe Akfen Ventures (TAV).
This airport can serve from small aircraft to medium-large aircrafts, it can accommodate up to 9 aircrafts and the terminal is equipped to handle up to 400 000 passengers annually.
Jat Airways, Helvetic Airways, Hello Airline, Airlift Service, Sky wings, Croatia Airlines and Adria Airways are among the airline companies operating to and from the Ohrid airport.
The main purpose of St. Paul the Apostle Airport is to serve as a second airport in Macedonia and alternative to Alexander the Great Airport at Skopje and cater to flights bringing in tourists destined for Ohrid.
Among other facilities the terminal building encompasses an information desk, a restaurant, a duty-free shop, and a VIP lounge.
Ohrid Airport is home to 9 airline offices at the airport itself. JAT Airways, Austrian Airlines, Germanwings, Helvetic, Adria Airways, Alitalia and Czech Airlines have offices at the airport.

Transport TO / FROM airport

By car
From Ohrid
The most convenient access to the airport is by the Motorway E65. The airport is 10 km West Center of Ohrid. Follow directions to St. Paul The Apostle Airport.

From Struga
Head east on E852/M-4 Motorway E61 about 6km.
Follow the signs and take the ramp to E65/M-4.
Continue toward E65/M-4 and after 3 km and you will see access road to St. Paul The Apostle Airport

From Kicevo
Head south at E65 and drive about 53 km Follow directions to OHRID St. Paul The Apostle Airport

Taxis are available according to the actual arrivals of flights. A fare from the OHRID St. Paul The Apostle Airport costs approximately 8 EUR(depending on the desired location in Ohrid).
